The Ranger cabin we stayed in needs a lot of work. We had mold in one bathroom, a shower that was not usable in the other bathroom for part of our stay and then the dryer broke on our 3rd day. There was 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 kids. We were refunded part of our stay, but the house definitely was not as described. It was described as a full kitchen. We did not have ANY usable pots or pans. Fairly disappointing. Lot of potential but definitely do not bother when it’s not the high season. First week area schools are back and I’m not sure why they didn’t just shut down for the season if they are going to put in so little effort. Store is hardly ever open, not even during posted hours. Snack bar and ice cream is open 1hr a day.water Slides are only open a couple hours a day. Both bounce pads have enormous holes in them. Pool is visibly moldy.
We camp here every year and the campground is constantly expanding and trying to improve. Much appreciated amenities general store Wibits on the lake and kayak rental as well.
