If i could give zero stars, I would. I ordered custom made jeld-wen french doors through Lowes early October. Took 6 weeks to get delivered. The installer came out, and refused to install because the gaps were so bad it would not be weather proof. They sent it back and reordered another set, that was supposed to be here and installed mid January. Got a call today that the ETA is estimated to be 3 more months and into April. I ordered windows from Jeld-Wen on September 6, 2024 and were told they would be delivered around the first week of November 2024. I was then told Thanksgiving, Dec 6th, 16th and then was subsequently told they were not in production yet and no one can give me an ETA on when I should receive them. On Dec 20th I finally made my way to Regional Manager, Ryan Delaney who has told me on three different calls that he would look into when I should receive my windows but I have never heard back from him. I am praising Jeld-Wen windows and doors. In todays age in my opinion customer service, it is at its lowest point. Most companies just don’t genuinely care. They want your money, they want you to buy their products, but not really wanting to give excellent customer service and some times not good products. To me, a smile is part of customer service, being friendly is part of customer service, making sure the customer is completely happy from the beginning to the end of the whole entire process is excellent customer service. ... read more
I am leaving one star because I can't leave lower. Jeld-Wen is the worst product I have ever had. I had the windows (expensive) installed 3 years ago. The representative had no idea what they were doing. The windows are already leaking and when I submitted a claim they just sent sashses (I purchased complete window).
