Awful experience. Dr. Vercollone made a mistake on my insulin prescription and lowered my prescription to a fraction of what I actually needed. Refused to help over the phone and I kid you not, the response from his staff was “not my problem.” Thankfully another endocrinologist from another hospital stepped in to help. Genuinely frightening how incompetent he and his staff are.
Dr. Vercollone is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He's so kind and caring, and so knowledgeable. He never judges, or talks down to you. I can’t recommend him enough. I have a very complex variation of T1D, and he is the first endo that actually understands it, and has completely turned my health around. He also has T1D himself, and I believe that adds a level of compassion & relatability that you can’t find with other doctors who haven’t been in our shoes.
