Some of the complaints rang true with my initial experience. My first visit felt rushed and I didn’t feel I had enough time. But, importantly, Dr. Segal offered me treatment options and therapy that my prior urologist didn’t. I’ve found this practice to be as close to what practices used to be- responsive and reachable. There are staff nurses who return your calls and get you in for treatment.
He was very nice until the exam. For someone who specializes in pelvic pain, you’d think he’d be a bit more sensitive to a patient who is expressing extreme discomfort. Instead, I was told to “calm down” because I was making it more difficult for him. After the exam he pretty much rushed me out of his office as I was crying. He was the one doctor who finally gave me a diagnosis and I’m grateful for that, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to him ever again.
