I’ve been seeing him since he was in Yonkers, don’t recall why but possibly the time I got scabies yuck. Honestly he made me feel gross about it, told me it’s not just kids who get it, has nothing to do with hygiene and best of all there are only 5-6 mites living on you at a time. The office itself is well run and his nurse was very nice. Dr. Barr made clear that he had only one interest- looking at potentially cancerous spots. I knew mother brown spots on my chest were not dangerous but wanted them frozen off. He said that he doesn’t do cosmetic procedures but at my insistence took his tank from the counter and froze off the most visible spots as if he was doing me a huge favor. ( It took 2 minutes). He is fantastic.. Kind and friendly.. don't listen to the negatives....
Run away from this guy. He is arrogant, rude and very unprofessional. From the moment he walks in the door he delights in being insulting and offensive and rude. Never again.
I had an appointment for a routine skin check with dr Barr. I had a strange rash I also wanted to show him but by the time of the appointment the rash was gone. I asked him to look at a photo which he didn’t want to do. Then glanced at it, made a joke about how it looked like monkey pox.
