I’ve had the pleasure of having Dr. Zimmerman as a doctor for not only my son years ago but for myself as well just recently. Both experiences were great! I was truly impressed with his knowledge on migraines (especially vestibular migraines) and the amount of resources and information he had for me to take home. Admittedly, he knew far more about migraines and I received more out of his appointment than I ever have with a neurologist. I would never recommend this Dr. He was very demeaning and rude to my son his patient.
During the pat year, I lost 2 PCP'S, My orthopedics Dr's. My Ears, nose and throat not to mention all my others that left need Dartsmouth and went to the Elliot. I don't know how Dr. Zimmerman got so many negative reviews. My story is I was refferd to by my upper endoscopy Dr. To get a clearance from him for surgery. I went in to see him Tuesday and surgery was on Friday. I saw Dr. Spector in Dec 2021 and he was great and nailed my issue. However, getting an appointment is difficult if you have a reoccurring problem. I was late 10 minutes for an appointment, my bad, but I see no reason that I could have been seen that day, even if I needed to wait an hour or two. They were about to schedule a new appointment 6 weeks out. I said don't bother.
I do not understand where all these poor reviews are coming from. I can believe the customer service may be poor when it comes to scheduling, a long wait, etc. But that does not represent Dr Zimmerman at all. I’ve had five surgeries in my lifetime, and my surgery with Dr. Zimmerman was the best experience of them all. He was also the only doctor who listened and saved me from reoccurring tonsillitis by removing them. Which no other ENT would do since I was “ too old”.
