Dr. Mahoney did an ablation in July 2019 on my heart. Everything went as expected and as he explained. The follow- ups have been very good. He takes the time to explain everything in detail, is very patient, and an answers all my questions. The nurses are prompt in getting back to me and have answers. He cares!

On 08/23/16, my husband had a pacemaker implanted by Dr. Mahoney. He had follow-up appts with Dr. Mahoney on 12/01/16, 04/19/17 and 06/07/18 to verify all was well. We received a call on 09/18/18 that the pacemaker was not transmitting and we needed to reset the monitor with the manufacturer, Abbott. During the call with Abbott, we were told that the pacemaker's model number was entered incorrectly and his pacemaker had NEVER been monitored. I would recommend DR. Mahoney to anyone needing an a Electro Physiologist. He is upfront with information, explains things very well and is direct with what procedures can and cannot do. He knows his stuff.

I was treated for supraventricular tachycardia by Dr. Mahoney. He was very thorough in his examination and treatment. He answered all my questions thoroughly and was also very kind.

This doctor is competent but the attitude of one staff member and how the dealt with feedback was less than professional. I had a nurse talk over my words on the phone when trying to describe my symptom of arythmia. When confronted with this, she became defensive and told me that she was a GOOD listener and did not even try to look at her behavior and be more helpful and a better listener. I see this as so important especially in a area where it could mean life and death.
