Two years post-op. Excellent surgeon and team! Sad to see him retire.
Had Gastric Sleeve to repair a hernia. In the surgery a hole was put in my esophagus. 4 and a half months of a feeding tube with back and fourth trips to Alabama hospital to unsuccessfully repair the hole plus rehab stint that was miserable. I was sent home and said it was repaired. 3 and a half months later the throwing up began again, couldn't eat. I chose a Doctor Ellie at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville to help me.
