After many hospitalization for bladder and kidney infections. My daughter saw Dr Leslie and was diagnosed with VUR grade lV. After a year of prophylactic antibiotics she was having breakthrough infections and needed surgery. Dr Leslie did a phenomenal Job of her reimplantation surgery and even called to check in with us several times after surgery. My daughter loves him and his staff.
Awful His bedside manner was disgusting When I called him out on it he “apologized” and said he was joking.

I routinely try to incorporate light-hearted humor and "joking" into visits, especially when sensitive issues are at hand, as routinely is the case in a pediatric urology office. I sensed no problem or conflict during this visit, and was shocked to hear that the parent was unhappy with my bedside manner later that day. I called the following day to apologize for any bedside manner that was received poorly by parent or child. Apparently this was not well received either.
My daughter has seen a urologist her entire life (12 years) and she has learned to cathe herself due to bad experiences in the past and even knows how to do a clean cathe with gloves and everything. When she went to the appointment the nurse insisted on doing it himself and made my daughter cry. Instead of trying to calm her down and help her understand what was going on and why, Dr Leslie told my 12 year old obviously traumatized daughter that she was too old to cry. Dr. Leslie may be a competent urologist, but from a bedside manner standpoint, I don't recommend him. He was impatient and abrasive when he initially saw my daughter at the hospital. At the follow-up visit at his office, he did not wear gloves when examining my daughter's private area. I mentioned to him that I was surprised he wasn't wearing gloves, and he said "Never do." This made my daughter and I both very uncomfortable. He used some sanitizer and started typing notes on his computer.
Best doctor that could have seen my child for urine reflex...highly recommend
There clinic charges $643.00 for a 5 minute office visit. Look elsewhere!!

We have separated from our prior employer and now own our own practice (Pediatric Urology of San Antonio, PLLC). Our fee schedule is now under our direct control and reasonable. Please call for information.
Dr Leslie conversations with me were not comfortable I felt demeaned and judged, I am at ambulatory surgery leaning over my son who has an iV already in place and Dr Leslie asks me Why are we here today? I brief him in. His comments made me wonder Why am I here.. Is he hinting that my son doesn't need both procedures? I trust his experience he said lets do camera . I felt Dr. Leslie didn't come prepared . He should have examine my son and talked with dr Travis BEFORE this surgery.
Dr. Leslie is a wonderfully talented surgeon. He successfully took care of my teenaged son. Dr. Leslie's bedside manner is above and beyond any expectations I had. He has a great sense of humor, which is very calming to his patients.
