It is very difficult for patients to find a Doctor that not only listens, but cares. Dr. Crecilious is astute, thorough, progressive, and prompt. He is there to help fix the problem, not mess around sending you to a private clinic in Indianapolis every time a procedure needs completed. This was my 6th lower back surgery. I give Dr. Crecilious and his entire staff an A+.
Patients come from out of state to see him. He has a national reputation for excellence.
Dr Cercelius is a true believer and a person with great patience.In a short period of one year with my spine opperation he performed a year ago I am grateful to the point of walking almost normally again.I was hospital bound for over 3 months then into a nursing facility for 7 long months on a wheelchair and brace..... then onto the walker. He was recommended by friends in the Greater Lafayette area,I came here on vacation for 10 days last year and had to stay here.
My son broke his back in 7 or 8 places in a car wreck and Dr. Crecelius was his surgeon after another surgeon only played around for almost a year doing nothing. Then I had a brain tumor and Dr. Crecelius performed 2 brain surgeries on me. We are both so thankful for Dr. Crecelius. We both came out of our surgeries great...thanks to Dr. Crecelius!
Although it was ultimately my decision, he explained thoroughly the pros and cons of my back surgery. He couldn't promise a success but he was going to try. Best decision I ever made, Dr. Crecelius changed my life. Thanks to the spinal fusion, I no longer have back pain or sciatica pain. Now, if Dr. Crecelius would smile more and be a little more friendly we'd all be in better shape. Other than that, I highly recommend him for any surgery.
Had two surgeries, cervical neck area, (C-2/C-6) and lumbar lower back surgery, (L-2/S-1) Dr. Creclius is an excellent surgeon. If I had to do it all over again, I would not hesitate so long to have it done.
