Avoid this urologist at all costs. After driving 90 minutes each way for an appointment, we were met with one of the most unprofessional and rude experiences we've ever had. Jeff was snarky and condescending from the moment we walked in. We provided him with pieces of a kidney stone for testing, and instead of taking it seriously, he casually shook the cup, said “there’s definitely something in here,” then refused to test it. Great doctor! Very kind and professional.
My husband and I both liked his professional manner. My husband switched to him from a very large practice that was thought to be the best around and found him much more informative and kind. He could not address my problem, and it proved to be digestive rather than urinary related. He was spot on with me as well.
Dr. Weingarten started my appointment off very brash. He did not try to help figure out why I was still having pain from my kidney stones and did not provide me with next steps. I was trying to switch to him as my Urologist and printed out all of my medical paperwork from the Beaumont ER. I was not told if I should continue the medication I was taking and he wouldn't even look at the paperwork. In my opinion he was very rude and the appointment wasted my time and his, I will not be back.
