I have arthritis in both hips and lower spine.Dr. Bean is very patient, gave me options, and let me make decisions. I’ve had Cortisone shots in both hips. The injections don’t last as long as I would like them. One lasted about three months last year (I also did a handful of physical therapy sessions the Dr recommended) but the one I had four weeks ago has already worn off. Cortisone shot in my knee. I was scared but it wasn't painful at all. Dr Bean is very good....highly recommend
I’m a Tennis Pro that comes up to to Maine for a month during the summertime to teach tennis at a Summer camp. I was having extreme tennis elbow and Dr Bean gave me a cortisone shot in my elbow that saved me. Keep in mind Dr Bean's office does not have a different rate for self pay patients. The charge the same rates for self pay and insurance patients, $789.80 for a consultation and cortisone shot is steep. Be careful there office will also tell you your insurance will cover their services.
I have been seeing Dr Bean for many years. You will not find a nicer, smarter, intelligent, Dr. that really knows his business, he is honest & will tell you if it's fixable or not. If it's fixable, he will fix it, if not he will recommend the appropriate Dr to fix it!
