KEEPS UP TO DATE ON WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. HE KNOWS HIS PATIENTS AND ALWAYS HAS TIME FOR ME.
I had an accident while on vacation. I was taken to Beebe hospital by ambulance. I had broken ankle and shoulder. Dr. Sopa performed surgery. I was taken to my room and Dr. Sopa would NOT come to visit me until I INSISTED. I didn't know what was done to me. THREE days later he came to my room and answered my questions. His bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. I could go on with continuing problems after the surgery but I won't bore you. If I had a choice I would NEVER use Dr. Sopa.
The only doctor I looked forward to seeing. One gets the feeling he really cares and offers his experiences to heal body and brain.
Dr. Harry was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful throughout my entire appointment. Firstly, he asked to take his mask off during our appointment stating he couldn't breathe, that he doesn't believe in Anthony Fauci, and that he believes "in science." He acted extremely inappropriately when asking about my personal history, making false claims about the health of my parents, who were not present. Dr. Heckert is primarily an Administrator of Mid Atlantic Family Practice. The facility and the admission staff are of the highest class, as are each of the Physician Assistants and other medical staff. My experience with Dr. Heckert, over thirty years, I see him once a year, he reviews my blood work, and responds to any questions I might have. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Run, do not walk away from this doctor’s practice. Zero patient advocacy, refused to take the time to listen to patient’s family about an alarming amount of symptoms and negligently missed a diagnoses of metastatic cancer that was found one week later in a Philadelphia Hospital. I'm an attorney that graduated at the top of my class and earned twelve academic awards during law school and, when I go for a visit with Dr. Harry, I leave feeling stupid; the man is that brilliant. He also understands that medications can do more harm than good (many times being toxic) and he wants to find the cause of conditions, not just prescribe drugs.
