He is the only doctor that I've been in contact with that doesn't believe in MRI.

I broke my wrist and was referred to Dr. Has beek. I immediately started PT with the therapists which continued for several months. I was never seen by the doctor during this entire time. When I finally requested a meeting with him, this doctor had never looked at my records or xrays. He stated that I had broken my right wrist when it was my left, and looked at my test results there in the examining room. He told me I had arthritis in my wrist and that he would "scrape it out". Was referred to see Dr Haasbeek from another orthopedic because he doesn’t do surgery on thumbs and Haasbeek said they won’t see me because it is a second opinion. How can it be a second opinion when there is a referral from a doctor. When the staff calls me (Leslie) they are very rude and she does not explain anything. She just says your appointment is cancelled because the doctor doesn’t do second opinions. If this is how they treat people I definitely wouldn’t want them to help me.

Got referred after a nerve conduction test for a carpal tunnel referral. The doctor didn't listen to a word I said, and said let's try some hand therapy first without tests or listening to any of my conditions or any other problems that I had. Basically a robot, doesn't listen at all. Horrible experience.
