I would give him ZERO stars if I could. I made my appointment with him months ago. He had diagnosed me almost three years and suggested a course of action. My condition had grown worse, hence the need to see him again. A week before the appointment I find out I’ve been passed along to someone else, not even a doctor but a physician’s assistant with no explanation. You will be treated with Tylenol after spine surgery. Avoid this sadist at all costs.

Please be aware this doctor believes acute and chronic pain can be treated with Tylenol and the dangerous drug Gabapentin. He believes opiod drugs are bad due to imaginary addiction. He fails to say that Gabapentin is also highly addictive. And Tylenol can cause liver disease and failure. Can you imagine spinal fusion with only Tylenol? I require surgery but will not have it with this recipe for acute and chronic pain. Opiods are not bad. Stop this nightmare of opiod hysteria.

I had a discectomy four week ago today. I was healing nicely, then last Sunday I experienced a terrible pain and on that Monday I couldn't get out of bed. On Tuesday, I was able to make it to the ER where I was admitted for five days. During this time I had an X-ray, ctscan, MRI, epidural, along with typical pain management medication. It was discovered (I didn’t speak to anyone, a nurse was nice to read the notes in MyChart) I had a fascia tear near the surgery site.
