This was the first time seeing Dr. Richard and he did not make a good impression. He was very condescending and full of himself. He kept pushing me to take a statin and I said no because they cause diabetes and dementia. Also, he is not up to date on medical information. In 2017 JAMA it was reported that high cholesterol and LDL do not cause heart disease. That was disproven by new information. He was still pushing old information that it does. 61YO WM 1st visit to Heart and Vascular, set me up with Stress test and Echo. Made me feel comfortable and explained why we were/are doing the things we are. On first impressions I would very much recommend Dr. Reichard.
Dr. Reichard puts one at ease immediately. He's knowledgable and thorough, practical and realistic.
