Dr. Jeffrey Charpentier was very nice, but don’t expect a call back or a reply on MyChart. His staff does not return calls or messages. Even when you get a person on the phone, which is unusual, and they say I’ll have his nurse return your call, don’t count on it. I called last Wednesday, no response by Friday. The recording says give them 24 hours to return calls. It also says for faster response leave a message on Mychart. If only this was true. I just have a question about my medication. Amazing neurologist. I had to change my neurologist. I have been very pleased with Dr. Charpentier. He is very knowledgeable and kind. His staff responds in great time. The Botox helps my migraines. I would recommend him.
He has a strong but gentle personality that is the same way he handled my care strong to the point. That is what I need because I've been going to other doctors and they have not been listening to me. He listens to everything I said and he went straight to the point. The first visit I knew he was the doctor that I have been looking for these last 3 years.. he listened it is the only way they would know what my body is going through.... My husband Gordon has been a patient of Dr charpentier years, and this past summer he was hospitalized for almost complete loss of neuro function. He could not sit up or stand. He was treated by a team of neurologist there at ngmd, and eventually released with instructions to see his neurologist within 2 weeks for a follow up. When we called we were told there was no availability, and we needed to wait until his already scheduled appointment in November. This was in August. Dr. Charpentier is AMAZING. He did not rush me, listened to all of my concerns and ordered the appropriate tests. He took me seriously and I did not feel rushed. His nurse Adrianne was also helpful and kind too.
