I left Dr. Roach’s office feeling scammed. His office charged me $490 (on top of my visit) for a ‘procedure’ of examining my nasal passages. It took 30 seconds, and was presented as a mandatory and routine part of the exam, similar to looking in my ears or throat. Be warned: they will say you signed the consent form, but you can’t know what you are consenting to – in this case, a sham ‘procedure’ that’s really just an exam.
Dr. Jeffrey C. Roach MD is a great Doctor. He is very polite knowledgeable and thorough with his examination. It may take a moment to get into an appointment with him, but that is because he is really good and worth the wait.
Go to a different practice! I called Mt. Auburn Otolaryngology Monday June 17th. and asked to see Dr. Roach, my ear Dr. I told the medical secretary I was bleeding from my left ear. I was told there were no appointments that day and I could not be seen on an emergency basis. My appointment started right on time, and the staff were incredibly organized. Dr. Roach was excellent, taking the time to discuss my concerns and explain everything in detail. Overall, it was a great experience.
Had a great experience with Dr. Roach and his staff. Professional and Dr. Roach clearly cares about his patient's well-being. Will take the time to explain anything and does his due diligence. Makes an effort to make you feel comfortable and ready before any procedures.
