I had major jaw surgery with Dr. Posnick and his assistant, Dr, Shammi. Outstanding is an understatement. Dr. Posnick is a genius! I highly recommend him, not only for his skill level, but also for his ability to sculpt your face. In my opinion, artistic skill is a part of surgery...some have it and some do not. He is an artist.
My 16 year old daughter had jaw surgery with Dr. Posnick 5 weeks ago to fix an underbite that got worse as she grew older. We interviewed many surgeons before our choice was made and we live in the philadelphia area. We chose to travel to chevy chase for the surgery (4 hours away) because we were so impressed by Dr. Posnick. Dr. Posnick is a wonderful surgeon. I had originally wanted more work done than he was willing to do. Unlike some hacker doctors he is foremost concerned with his patient and their realistic expectations rather than sucking them dry (financially) when he can sense they are willing to consent to a lot of treatment. He is gentle and very good at his job.
