The worst experience. Never allowed me to ask a question. Treated me like someone who was not worthy to be in her presence…. A nuisance to get out asap…..showed no interest or concern. She came in and out within 7 minutes. Went several times to see if she maybe just had a bad day. Following two more visits- more of the same. Never been treated so poorly by any physician.
The IDIOTS that run this office need to be fired! I made an appointment 2 weeks ago, they called me last week to see if I could come one day early and I agreed, day of my appointment I arrive 15 minutes early, find the office BUT both doors are locked with NO signs indicating why, I call them and spend 20 minutes on hold before giving up, as 1 last gesture on my part walk around and find a “delivery” door and knock on it, it is answered by a young lady who informs me the office has MOVED without notify me! This place is horrible - from rude front desk reps, to waiting more than 25 mins on phone just to reach someone, to waiting 3 hours past appt time just to see doc for 2.5 mins, plus the office is very dirty and unkept. They should be ashamed of themselves!!! Avoid this company at all cost - save your time, sanity, and health and go somewhere else!!!

It is impossible to contact somebody at this place. Dr Devacumar is good but I do not have time to wait on the phone forever to make of cancel an appointment. I don't know why these people don't hire more office employees to help patients......
On1/15/24 Dr. Stern performed an aquablasion and TURP procedure on me at Banner Estrella Hospital in Phoenix for an enlarged prostate. I met Dr Stern prior to the surgery and he advised that I would be spending the night and discharged the following day to make sure there were no complications. After surgery I was advised that I was being discharged the day of my procedure rather than spending the night. One of the worst experience ever. Had no consideration no bed side manners. he would never returned phone calls. Office best answer 9 time out of 10 was go to the hospital. almost 1 year later my father is trying to heal from what Dr Kaplan did not do right. " Kidney Stone Gone wrong" I rate Dr kaplan a 0
STOP! As others have said this Doctor has zero empathy, compassion or concern about your condition or you as a human being. Academic Urology is a Corporate Assembly Line and there to rush you through. Dr. Schlaifer will not answer questions and when she does the answers are short, uninformative and rude. Ask a question and she will cut you off in mid sentence! She DOES NOT explain procedures and is very rough in handling your most sensitive areas. Her staff walks on eggshells and are afraid of her. I recently had surgery with Dr. Kundavaram. What as positive experience. Cathy the surgical scheduler is very knowledgeable, calming and caring. She went above and beyond multiple times to help me. A big thank you to both Dr. K and Cathy for everything.
