Life saving surgery for me. Very good after care also. My surgery was about 9 years ago and I'm still at 175lb to 180. I rarely gain or lose. I'm 6ft. My highest weight was 355lb with sleep apnea and high bp. Both resolved. If you control portions (hard not to) and stay away from sugar you will have success. I had gastric bypass.
