I am a little over 2 years post op from a hysterectomy without oophorectomy. My fallopian tubes had been removed with a previous C-section so Dr. Nelson removed my cervix and uterus. I did appreciate his attention to pain and his willingness to help control that pain. I also appreciated his pre-surgical, surgical staff and anesthesiologist as well as the nurses that followed. I cannot recommend Dr. Nelson and this office enough. Dr. Nelson has been calming and reassuring at every appointment. I get pretty nervous going to doctors and have been especially on edge as this is my first pregnancy. Dr. Nelson answers all the questions my husband and I have and does not make me feel rushed. He is also super responsive to messages on the patient portal. The office staff, including nurses, are equally great. I have been under Dr. Nelson's care for only a few months, but in every way, he has been nothing but supportive, great listener and health educator, and an advocate for my health. I have had other OB's in my past with moving from one state/city to another and I must say that he is by far the best. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a OB who really cares and shows it.
