Jefferson Title Company is completely stuck in the past. I went in to have a vehicle title placed into the name of my trust, and they insisted they needed a separate tax ID — which is incorrect. A revocable living trust uses the grantor’s Social Security Number until death, per federal law. Even after I explained this, they argued instead of helping. How is this place still in business? Went there for a simple auto title switch on a car I bought for cash out of state... thought it would be easy. I was wrong. The woman I dealt with was completely incompetent, and the manager she called over was even worse. They were rude, told me I didn't have the information I needed, and dismissed me. I went over to another title agency on Veterans WITH THE SAME INFO and was out in 15 minutes with the new plate and title information transferred. If you want anything done, never come to this place. The workers are rude and don’t trust what you say. Some African American Lady(DAPHNE) was rude to me when I had everything set. She had zero intention to help me out. She said someone with a Drivers license needed to come trying to infer that I didn’t have one because I was Hispanic. Everyone there works like the sloths from Zoothopia or whatever it’s called. NEVER COME HERE!! THERE IS A REASON WHY ITS EMPTY!!

Missing one document, she suggested I go get the document. She would continue processing my application and fit me in when I returned. All of this with the most pleasant smile.
