Excellent treatment a couple of weeks ago in the emergency room. We were seen in a timely and efficient manner. Reception, nursing staff and physician were considerate, kind, and competent. Moreover, I overheard a nurse dealing with a very inebriated gentleman across the hall. She managed him in a respectful and expert way and de-escalated the situation beautifully. It's difficult work, but that team manage to do it so well.
I have been to the emergency room here twice in the last year, once for a stroke and once a severly injured knee. The staff has been wonderful, and the care that I have received has been incredible. They are thorough and compassionate in every way! The doctors have been amazing and the ER staff and nurses should be comended in the highest regard for the care that they provide to the patient! BEWARE of this place! I went there at 6am after a bad wisdom tooth surgery the day before. I couldnt sleep i was in such bad pain. I went in, there was nobody there and i got right in. I wasnt even there 25 minutes to get pain meds. They charged me $2500!!!! Are you kidding me! $2500 for a doctor to hear me out and give me a script to take to cvs! I took the pills for one day and never touched again! $2500! Absolute SCAM! This place is EVIL
Came in with a concussion, left with more mental strain. They listen but don’t do what you need or ask them to do, like run a CT to just double check there’s no bleeding. I have underlying problems that could cover the sign of it. And said “we don’t want to put more radiation” okay well I was very aware of the consequences! Doctors there need to learn to listen to their patients. Especially ones on the spectrum. I will say they were quick and the nurses were understanding, but the doctors are not.
In 2008 the emergency room did an illegal drug test on me without a warrant for the Jefferson County Sheriff office while I was in poor health and handcuffed to the bed due to lies by bag people in the area. In 2024 I went to emergency struggling to breath which they did nothing other than doing some tests and giving me one unit of fluids. The did find my blood sugar was over 525 which is described as a medical emergency, yet they gave me nothing for this either.
