Jefferson County has been nothing but a horror story. I applied for benefits after breaking my arm and was told that I can find out immediately whether I am approved or not. Jefferson County waited three weeks after several calls and attempts of me getting a hold of them and talking to people and getting absolutely nowhere. This delayed my surgery and it caused me tons of pain now my snap benefits that were approved on the 11th have been put on hold and Jefferson County is only open Monday through Thursday. We had a wonderful experience getting our toddler her vaccines here. All of the staff we encountered were lovely and very professional.
2022 - They sent me a text when they’re BiValent (omicron booster) was available. As a senior citizen, I went in 2 weeks ago when my Drs office employees were out sick with COVID. No appointment was needed. EVERYONE was masked. They also have medical air purifiers throughout the building! YAY JeffCo Public Health Dept ♥️
