Jefferson County Humane Society Veternarian Clinic is by far the best place to take your fur babies. They are very compassionate and gentle with your pets. The doctors and technicians are very good at what they do and I appreciate everything they did and what they are gonna do for my dog. No vet clinics are cheap. My first estimate for my dog was over $2200.00. So disappointed, I adopted from here and while my last adoption was a formerly physically abused cat of 3 years, I took him to love on him and give him a good life. He was such a gentle loving cat. Even though he was a sickly cat who had a hard time keeping food down I didn't give up on him. But eventually his undisclosed illness took its toll. Brought my dog Lady here after adopting her from JCHS because I suspected she had a UTI. The exam didn't even happen in the room. They took her out and then brought her back, so I have no idea what all was done. They tried to get a urine sample but was unsuccessful. They told me to bring her urine in myself using a container. Even though they work with the humane society, they still gave her all the shots she had just been given. I spent almost 300 at this vet visit .. for what exactly? I'm not so sure.
