I intentionally overdosed on pills in 2024. I called for help immediately and was informed by the EMT that I hadn't taken nearly enough to hurt me. But off we went to the ER anyway. I assumed I would be checked over for any adverse reactions to the pills and be evaluated by a mental health professional. I thought calling for help was the right thing to do. Nope. Just took my fiancé to the er after what we thought was her breaking her hand at work this is not our first time coming here the bedside manner is either hit or miss but more times than not extremely rude and nonchalant about it as well . Talking bad about patients to downright treating her as if she was less than . I understand that there is a lot of good workers here but it seems to be check in is the ones that are good and the wait time for what seems to be an empty er it takes multiple hours for us . My husband had a misdiagnosed ct scan, er dr had us scared 2 death and wouldnt allow my wife 2 take me 2 UIHC. Dr. took it upon herself to call ambulance and now we r blessed with a $2700.00 ambulance bill, due 2 them not marking as emergency and out of network 4 insurance, on top of many thousands more in bills, due to misdiagnosis! We cant get any assistance with our situation-all stick together. Please try 2 go elsewhere!
Took our son here with a fever of 105 degrees. No not 100.5 but 105! When we got there they said they didn’t have any rooms so a nurse came out and got his vitals then told us she would bring tylonel. We waited for 45 minutes in the waiting room. Not tylonel, no communication with us, NOTHING. Somebody who had came in after us was pushed through 10 minutes after they had sat down.
