The Jefferson County Genealogical Society Library is located at 100 Fernwood Road in Wintersville Ohio. They are open Tuesdays and Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is posted on their website and also at their location. A contact phone number is also listed on the chapter website. We had an extremely beneficial visit to the Wintersville branch of the Ohio Genealogical Society-Jefferson County on June 13, 2017. Not only did we find the ORIGINAL copy of our ancestor's 1848 Will, but also the detailed inventory document of the Estate. Flora Verstraten and her staff were very helpful, and stayed well beyond their normal hours to assist us.
