Customer service at registration needs to be improved. Staff should communicate with patients properly and clearly. In a hospital setting, it is important to focus on work and patient care. Instead of spending time talking and walking around in the hallways, staff should remain attentive and professional, especially in a busy emergency room
I been waiting here for 9 hours and they still won’t even tell me how much longer the wait will be. They did labs the first hour I was here then sent me back to the waiting room. They have me waiting here with an IV in my arm . If I leave they will still charge my insurance and I won’t ever get to speak with a doctor avoid this ER at all costs. You can’t just walk away because the lady in the reception desk said even if I leave they will still bill my insurance
This place is awful. I've been here maybe like 5 times in the past 6 years and each time it gets worse. It doesn't matter if the waiting room is packed or empty you're still in for a 6hr wait or more. The hospital is constantly filled causing anyone that is admitted in the ER rooms to stay in the ER rooms therefor everyone who is in the waiting room just stays out there without no word of whats going on until you ask. THE MOST AWFUL PLACE. If you are truly sick, DO NOT GO THERE, please. They will let you die and won't even realize it. I spent almost 9 LONG HOURS feeling sick, sitting in a chair with an IV drip, and in the end, you know what happened? NOTHING. I had to leave because they saw everyone else in the room except me. I asked SEVERAL times if they could help me, that I wasn't well, and they said, "You can leave, but we're going to the emergency room, and if someone arrives in worse condition, they go first."
