Was good before surgery but after surgery my pains and problems and concerns were blown off. 4 months post op and I’m still using a cane to walk and in pain daily. He took me off of PT. Just saw my PCP who is having some testing done and re-referring me to PT. Have everything written down in case I have to go to another surgeon because I will be filing a law suit.
Dr. Spaw is the rudest most unprofessional Dr. I have ever dealt with. My daughter, an athlete, was seeking treatment on a high ankle sprain with ligament tears. The first visit we didn't even see the doctor. The PA put her in a boot and said let it heal. We asked at physical therapy and they said no. The follow up apt they transitioned her to a brace and again denied physical therapy. 6 months later we are back because she is still swelling, has pain and very limited mobility and strength. In my opinion Jeff Spaw crippled me! I've been wheelchair bound since March of 2022. He's performed five surgeries on my right knee and was in a nursing home for almost a month after the fourth surgery. So after all that for a knee replacement his only option to me is amputation! Also $9,000.00 out of pocket deductible and all the lost wages and got nothing except pain, suffering that's left me crippled. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️
Dr. Spaw is a sweet and amazing doctor he is good at what he does. He did a surgery on my mother July 25th 2024 on her left shoulder and she is doing great she has even started to do what she likes best making tamales. But what I really like about Dr. Spaw is that I know he cares and remembers his patients every time he sees me he will ask me how my mother is doing.
Dr. J. Spaw is one of the few Orthopedic Doctors I've seen that I really respect because for once he's not just pushing surgery on me for both of my hips which scares me greatly. He tries all the methods there are first and I truly admire Him for this.
