I am posting this review to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Jeep Speed Shop. I paid in full for a Hemi swap kit for my JKU on April 10, 2025. At the time of purchase, I was informed that the kit would take approximately 6–8 weeks to arrive, primarily due to the wiring harness requiring that amount of build time by the owner, Todd. Well I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this but after finding this crap out I figured people should know. A few years ago this shop installed a "4in lift" on a rubicon thing is that's not what he did he installed a 3 in lift kit but charged the customer for a 4in instead.
Jeep Speed Shop is the best place to go for a hemi-swap. I did a DIY hemi swap and 3 years later, they will still help with advice and tracking down solutions to trouble codes. Their customer service and long term support are awesome. Whether they do a turn-key swap at their shop, or you buy their kit and do it yourself, Jeep Speed Shop is there for you. Tood & Liz are great and we are so happy with our CARB legal 5.7 Hemi & 8Spd swap (CA. registered 07 JK). Their kit and advise were top notch and we have 5000+ trouble free miles on the swap. They are your best choice!
Hats off to Todd what a fantastic job he did on my 07 Jeep JKU! I went with the 5.7 VVT Hemi truck engine with 8 speed transmission and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I just got my rig back last week the sound of the V8, the smoothness of the 8 speed with manual sifter and all the powers I'm gained makes my Jeep become one of the bests around.
