I am posting this review to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Jeep Speed Shop. I paid in full for a Hemi swap kit for my JKU on April 10, 2025. At the time of purchase, I was informed that the kit would take approximately 6–8 weeks to arrive, primarily due to the wiring harness requiring that amount of build time by the owner, Todd. Well I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this but after finding this crap out I figured people should know. A few years ago this shop installed a "4in lift" on a rubicon thing is that's not what he did he installed a 3 in lift kit but charged the customer for a 4in instead.
Hats off to Todd what a fantastic job he did on my 07 Jeep JKU! I went with the 5.7 VVT Hemi truck engine with 8 speed transmission and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I just got my rig back last week the sound of the V8, the smoothness of the 8 speed with manual sifter and all the powers I'm gained makes my Jeep become one of the bests around. I have used Jeep Speed Shop over the years for many upgrades and services to my Jeep. Everyone there is beyond knowledgeable and has always been great to work with. Everything from my Coil Overs to Skid Plates and even my tune up and oil changes. They have always been there for me and a pleasure to work with.
JSS is working on my Jeep now and the owner/operator has been very transparent throughout the project and straight forward with what to expect and potential issues we may run into given we are squeezing a Corvette motor between two hoops, installing a York compressor and a Premier Power Welder among other engine compartment real estate hogs.
