I reached out asking if they could do a custom family ring for me as I have the stone, sent them photos of the stone, ideas, and was just looking for an estimate on the price. I got ignored for a week, then sent a follow up, they responded that they would send me a quote soon, and that was a month and a half ago. This ring being made was going to mean a lot. Obviously it wasn’t enough money for them. Very poor customer service.

I came to Jedco to have a Chrome Hearts diamond stud looked at. The owner took a 10-second glance with a loupe (no equipment, no proper testing), and confidently told me it was a fake diamond — just cubic zirconia. I was stunned, so I went to Gemoro (an authorized Rolex dealer with certified gemologists), where they used professional machines and confirmed it’s a 100% real diamond. Really good experience with ring sizing (I've had 6 rings sized here after hearing that they were great and they are bar none the best and most reasonably priced place to go for jewelry repair in Edmonton) and they have a beautiful show room full of lots of amazing jewelry that makes me wish I was rich. Very much recommend.

I did a lot of research on a good place in town to search for an engagement ring, and there were a lot of positive reviews on various websites about Jedco. The idea of supporting local also appeals to me, so I decided to go and check it out. I went in and spoke about what I wanted. He wrote down my info and asked me to send email of design ideas and would get back to me. Nothing…. I emailed them back asking for an update. I got fed an excuse they were out in Toronto getting some stones and that’s why they didn’t contact me. Back and forth in emails with ideas of what I wanted for an engagement ring. Said they would get back to me with a quote. Nothing. It’s been over a month now. No response. Awful service, 0 follow-up and a general lack of any enthusiasm.
