I told them I was having a heart attack. They dropped me on the concrete stairs outside my apartment in Stuart, breaking my nose, fracturing my tail bone and ear. They didn't even say SORRY. Then the took me to nearest hospital which had no cardiologist. Then on to Danville hospital where the threading procedure into the arteries test, nicked an artery and then I was flown to Duke in NC by helicopter and received 4 heart stents. I'm still suffering the effects of being dropped on August 31st 2024.

I don’t know who Alex McNabb is and I know there’s been some issues with racism in several rescue departments in our area both in Patrick and Franklin County. Whether or not that reflects on the station is I think a little much. These guys came and picked me up out of a really rough situation where I was losing touch with reality. They handled me in such a way that it completely made me feel happy, safe, protected, and like everything was going to be OK. It was a bigger guy with dark hair.
