I have had school dresses and pants taken up in the past with no issues. Most recently I took two pairs of jeans in to be shortened (two separate occasions - $25 each). Both times they have been taken up to exactly the length that I pinned. Both times they were ready to pick up the same day even though I did not request or pay for same day service. No complaints from me, I will continue to use them.

My partner dropped off jeans to be hemmed, he called me, and they asked if I would like the hem cut off and reattached as it had a distressed hem… instead of cutting it and reattaching which incurs a premium price of $55…( the usual is $25) they simply rolled it up and stitched it above the hem line. I took a new pair of jeans to them have the hem taken up. They hemmed them without retaining the original hem that is so much a part of jeans and their style. When I complained I was told that I had to request that the original hem be retained. I said I believed they were Jean hem experts and that is why I went there. $30 for something I could have done myself
