Tonight I’m laying awake crawling at the dirt in my yard picturing Jeanne screaming at me, “Haven’t you been counting kicks?!” When my son had no heart beat at 39 weeks. This woman had previously shamed me for being fat, saying “You don’t want to have a 10 lb baby do you?!” Meanwhile I had gained less than 10 lbs my entire pregnancy. I have to drive past every day and relive my son’s death. They talked me out of additional monitoring and dismissed my fears. This woman is a murderer.
What a fantastic birthing facility! I felt cared for and listened to my entire pregnancy. They always took their time to explain everything which was much appreciated. I birthed here for about 10 hours before needing to be transferred but the experience was very positive and the midwives came with me to the hospital and continued to care for me and deliver my baby there. I can’t recommend them enough for their kindness and knowledge.
Absolutely awful, the people weirded me out and the center itself is just someone's house. The place felt very off and it made me uncomfortable just being there. The place is full of stressors and there is only a couple midwives that actually work there. I seriously don't recommend this place to anyone.
I'm sure that Jeanne Hebl is fine, but the rest of the midwives here don't know what's what. They had a new hire (she'd been there a month at the time) give my husband and I the tour of the birth center and I had mentioned that I had a c-section, and wasnt informed until a couple weeks later that they dont allow VBAC's at their facility which broke my heart. And not only this, but they misinformed me and also said that the hospital would make me birth in the OR if I attempted a VBAC. Which I found out was completely FALSE! B... read more
