I asked for an estimate to get my check engine light dealt with. They quoted me $1,800. I sent their estimate to a few other shops and was told some of the parts dont even go to my car and, "It looks like the are just throwing parts at the problem." The person who repaired my car a few days later did it for THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS. $1,500 mark up... yikes. Response to their response: that is not true. I asked you NOT to do a tune up and only fix what was needed for the check engine light before and after I was given the quote.... read more
