Really quite awful. First they took the payments we were making towards another property and kept putting them on the wrong property causing the other property to be charged late charges. We're stuck with using only them for water obviously, but their meter also broke in February and showed we used "4 hundred gallons" in January it showed we used "67 hundred gallons" and before that 73. Be aware if you move, they will make you pay even when you don’t live at that address anymore, so you’ll be paying someone else’s bill.

I’m out $800 because of their mess up. Spent last 5 hours being told 10 different things from each person with no apology or way to fix it. Say yes it’s our fault but nothing can be done now! The city of Jackson should be ashamed for letting JEA do whatever they want with no repercussions to its community

Received a bill for over 300. 00. First time in 20 years. Everything is pilotless. We called customer service to discuss bill. Spoke with customer service rep Cheyenne. We requested a manual reading. We were denied a manual reading . Rep stated JEA is responsible for pipes up to the house. We asked “ what about the meter? Isn’t JEA responsible for the meter? What if there is a leak”?
