Shop took on a diesel leak in my 92 Toyota Hiace from Japan. Ended up being the injection pump that they are unable to rebuild in house since you need speciality test equipment. Instead, I got quotes from pump rebuild shops so JDM removed it and reinstalled when the refurbed unit came back. I did all the additional parts ordering based on JDM feedback so we ended up replacing timing components, some seals, belts, brakes, and rebuilding the alternator. Really nice costumer service
Mike and his team at JDM are one of the best knowledgeable mechanics I can honestly trust and recommend. They did an amazing job on my 2014 Toyota Camry , installed a new engine and had the car running perfectly smooth. I’m impressed with the work they did and I’ll recommend them to anyone out there with car problems especially Japanese made vehicles, they’re the best!
Big thanks to Mike and the crew at JDM Specialist Repair. They took great care of my oddball Mitsubishi JB470 RV, which most mechanics in LA won’t even touch. Not only did they rebuild the front CV axles and sort out a diesel leak, but they also dug in deep to troubleshoot an elusive sound I couldn't pinpoint.
