Long wait and still not fixed plastic broken screws missing hose left unhooked
We were so pleased with J & D Small Engine Repair! A few months ago, we took our lawn mower somewhere in north Georgia, to a shop there, because it needed to be fixed, and the place we took it to had been recommended by a friend of my husband’s. After the shop kept our lawn mower there for a number of weeks, and we had to use the push mower on our acreage, they finally called us and told us they looked “everywhere” and they couldn’t fix it. Aweful!! Called to ask about lawn mower parts on a Saturday and they said we closed at 2:00! That’s not the way you run a business if you have a potential customer you go above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of, and for 2 why would you turn money down do better! Very rude! I have never used them and never will going forward!
It was a dragging experience. Told me they can work on my machine. Stated they had it running for 5min and were riding it and that it shut off again. They told me that it needs a new carburetor. I brought one and they stated it was the wrong one. Took my machine back home and the carburetor was a perfect fit. He said the timing was off which was causing the issue.
