JD is an incredibly talented hairstylist and an even more wonderful person. Every time I leave his chair, I feel confident, beautiful, and truly cared for. One of the greatest things about JD‘s hair studio is that when I come from the Bay Area San Francisco Oakland he always makes space and he always does the best job. I never have to go in with an idea. I just sit in his chair and I say do what you do because I trust his opinion and his styling ability my hair always lasts longer when I get back home but anytime I come to Long Beach and I’m here for a few days. It is time for me to get my hair done by the best stylist in the area.
I’ve been going to Jon for 10 years now and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. JD understood the assignment and then some! I came in needing a sew-in and left feeling like a whole new person. The install was neat, flat, and blended perfectly with my natural 4C hair. No bumps, no tension, no unnecessary pulling. Just clean work! What I really appreciated was the attention to detail. JD did an amazing job of highlighting my locs. It’s hard to find somebody that highlights locs and he did exactly what I asked for. Got compliments right after I left the salon! Will be coming back.
