All the mechanics in Canada should adopt this business model. Free of charge "looking at" and estimate. The actual charge is usually lower than the estimate. Knowledge, honesty - all around five stars. I tried to pay for a light bulb replacement that was done on top of a (free) diagnostics. "It took me three seconds" the response was.
I couldn’t be more thankful! My girlfriend lives in town while I’m on the opposite end of the province and couldn’t help her myself. It was a simple issue that no other shop would make time for, but when I called here, the gentleman on the phone not only made time for her but also resolved it free of charge. I will absolutely recommend this business to everyone I know and will only use them whenever I’m in town from now on.
I didn’t catch his name sadly but he checked to see if my oil pan heater was still stuck to the pan at no cost to me. Generous and kind guy. 100% recommend J&D mechanics to anyone in town.
