I visited JD Accounting in February 2025 for a very basic tax return, as I’m currently on Ontario Works with no other income. He initially quoted $160, then reduced it to $124, which is still an extremely high amount for a simple case. What was most disappointing is that he increased the price after seeing I receive the Child Benefit, which felt like a clear attempt to take advantage of my situation. (I have inserted the attachment for more details for better accountant ) If u r looking for kind, respectful service, go to the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre (TCCC) they help for free with maybe a 20 minute wait( the max or 2-5min the minimum ) u can also visit the Tibetan accountant at the monastery near Jameson (he helps from the heart, free of charge) or A+ Multi Services Enterprises at 1975 Dundas St W (near Jameson).
