I was driving my 95yo mother to see her 92yo brother in LA after driving from my home in Clearwater to Biloxi where she lives and then Louisiana when the temp gauge was showed very hot. A mechanic added coolant and said it should be ok. Departed from Biloxi to go home, stopped after an hour and the coolant was out again.
