I have been going to JC Penny and have an awesome stylist by the name of Marlene. I have been to other salons and no one does my hair the way she does. My hair style is unique and Marlene is exceptional at doing the way I request. I highly recommend JC Penny hair salon for all your needs. The staff always makes me feel at home. Michelle Lavallee

I am not from the Marlborough area but the last couple of times Ive made the trip to the mall I have been a walkin customer to the JCP salon. I have never had to wait more than 10 min, but I am there midday and weekdays. Ive had different stylists but have received very good cuts. They have great products too.

I really wish I didn’t go here. I took care of my hair so well and just needed a trim. The hairstylist was very rude and said it looked bad and it was waist long. I asked them to cut off 3 inches but she cut off 5 because “it looked better” to her and gave me the most choppy layers I’ve ever seen in my life. And I said that the layers weren’t blended and she proceeded to aggressively wash my hair using boiling water. My scalp hurts and my hair looks terrible.

If I could give this salon 0/5 stars I would. I’m not sure if this is how you spell her name but the person that did my hairs name was Carrie and instantly the rudest person ever. Left products in my hair and went on with her day. I was there for hours and the store manager was also very rude and demanding that I pay for something after leaving me with orange and yellow hair after I asked for brown. It was so choppy and they added things that I was not aware of to the treatment and made me pay for it. The worst salon I’ve ev... read more
