Marlene does the best job! I've been going to her for a few years, and she has always done an amazing haircut.
02/05/2026 I went with my niece to do her hair , she dye her hair in black ,cut her hair and straigh her hair , her dye application was terrible my nieces end up with stain all over her face ,I ask why she didnt apply vaseline or something to avoid that problem and she reply "the go only such of long way", I was very surprise because the dye was black , her hair was dry and didnt straigh her hair well, was really bad !!!!! She fail on the basic of cosmetology
I will never return they messed up my hair left dye stains all over my face and the dye is leaking everywhere. They didn’t wash my hair correctly and cut it way too short looked nothing like the photo i showed. I had two people working on my hair very aggressively and it was just an overall mess. My appointment was at 3:30 i didn’t get attended till 4:10. The overall price was suppose to be 95 it went all the way up to 140 i still left a tip even though they were unprofessional and i left very unsatisfied.
I have been going to JC Penny and have an awesome stylist by the name of Marlene. I have been to other salons and no one does my hair the way she does. My hair style is unique and Marlene is exceptional at doing the way I request. I highly recommend JC Penny hair salon for all your needs. The staff always makes me feel at home. Michelle Lavallee
