Been looking for hair stylist since moving to Birmingham for school. Finally decided I couldn’t really go wrong here but since they offered the services on natural hair to give it a try. Worst mistake ever. Not only was my hair unevenly “trimmed”/cut, but the “silk press” experience was not what I expected from any master stylist. The stylist didn't know what product to use for finger coiling natural black ethnic hair. By the time I realize what she was using 'Mousse" and not Gel it was to late. My hair is a hot mess this morning. I paid and left a tip because she did the shampoo/conditioning, but styling was awful. All hair is not the same, your fellow hair stylist can suggest something if you don't know or go on YouTube. Hello, I was a frequent customer at the JCP salon from 2019-2021. Unfortunately I received a relaxer where the stylist did not "base" my hair around my hair line. THIS RESULTED in permanent scaring on my face near the hairline (forcing me to part my hair on the opposite side) scar still there.The stylist wanted to use her preferred relaxer instead of the one, Mazani I used many times with no problem I was based everytime. I would like to here from someone concerning this. Thank you
