Really disappointed in our experience this year. I went to this location last year and had a great experience. We waited over an hour past our appointment with two small children. The photographer was awful she gave no guidance and it was like pulling teeth to get her to give any guidance on posing, which did not help my fussy children. We ended up having to give up on the entire shoot. So I paid 160$ for photos with little to no effort from our photographer. I would give zero stars if I could! We had an appointment scheduled for 6pm and showed up 10 minutes late. They told us we had to be considered walk-ins because of that. We have now been waiting just about 2 hours with a 7 year old, 3 year old, and 8 month old with tons of people going ahead of us. It’s like they decided we needed to go absolutely last even though we had an appointment!! Even people who didn’t have an appointment have gone before us! Absolutely ridiculous. We will never be back!!
We absolutely love our experience with JCPenney Portraits! We've been coming to this location for about 20 years and each year is magical!
I really wish we had read the reviews on this location. I couldn’t believe the wait time! Especially with families, appointments are not honored. It’s really insane. AVOID, our experience in silver spring was better than this.
It's amazing how many families come into the studio and cannot or will not control their children. Don't mind the reviews here, not sure what their experiences were but people were being difficult, trying to get a discount any where they could when my family and I were there....
