We had a disappointing experience today. *The photographers were amazing with our 1 year old son so this review does not reflect their demeanor and effort during the photo shoot at all.* Last year (December 2024) we had family photos taken at the same location and received 66 photos back. My kid's and I were really looking for to taking family pictures because we were overdue for some. I'm happy that we took some pictures but I'm disappointed in the photographer, the environment and how our pictures came out. 1. It was HOT in there no AC just a small fan in the room where we take pictures at. The "photographer" was like yea it's hot in here and I've been very and no lunch at all and the AC has been out for awhile." I didn’t have the best experience at JCPenney Portraits. First off, the studio was extremely hot apparently the air conditioning wasn’t working, and they only had a few fans running. This made it very uncomfortable, especially for my infant, who was understandably fussy throughout the session due to the heat. The photographer who worked with us did not seem experienced or patient with infants. The experience was quick and easy. I was also doing a business profile shoot so not many pictures were needed but Stephen was great and helped me get the exact shots I wanted. Thanks!
