Dawn was amazing! My family and I were visiting St. Pete and decided to drop by and take "awkward photos." Dawn went above and beyond, she was so helpful, efficient, and charismatic! We first took serious photos, then she choreographed some funny, awkward poses per our request, and all the photos came out so great! It was such a fun experience, we're thinking of making this a family tradition as long as Dawn works there!

JC Penney Portraits is reasonable and is available through Groupon. When using Groupon you can only use one deal at a time. Overall good service.

For one it’s very pricey the sitting fee is more expensive than the photos there are no deals every year I go here it’s always oh you don’t have a membership then when I purchase it and come back again the same excuse oh it expired a couple days ago. We shouldn’t be charged a sitting fee when you don’t go right in to take pics because they’re not finished with the prior family the area is hot small and smelly the photographers look like they don’t want to be there and when I stated I was disappointed with the price for 3 pos... read more

I’m giving this a 5-star review solely because of ASIA. She managed the studio with exceptional professionalism during our session and ensured everything ran smoothly without missing a beat. Unfortunately, the experience took a downturn when she was replaced by another staff member who was unprofessional, rushed our session, and ignored our requests when we needed time. This ultimately caused us to end our session earlier than planned. Again the only reason why I didn’t give the studio a 1-2 star review is because of Asian.

Horrible experience booked a 7:00 photo shoot only to sit for 1hr and watch 3 families go before us .. it almost felt a little racist but I’m not going to go there … the photographer never acknowledged us at all or apologized… it seemed like a movie where you watch all the white people get service accept my family.. I’m very disappointed and will never shop or go to Jc penny ever again
