We had such a wonderful experience at JCPenney Portraits! We brought our 1 and 2 year olds for family photos, and as expected with toddlers, our 2 year-old had a meltdown midway through the session. Marisa was absolutely amazing, she quickly adjusted, helped soothe our child, and kept the session fun. She has a real gift for capturing children’s attention, singing “Baby Shark” and the ABCs to get them smiling for the camera. I have gotten my son’s pictures taken here since he was 3 months old. Each time has been a great experience. Our most recent visit in the beginning of July 2025 was great. The service that the photographer Wayae (excuse the spelling if not correct) provided great service. He was very patient with my toddler son who was a bit shy. The photographer immediately took out toddler appropriate toys to try to get my son to get comfortable, he also played the Mickey Mouse club house theme song on his phone. I did not actually go to JCP for photos. This review is regarding a single phone converstation. I would like to get some professional pictures because I need a new headshot for professional use. There is a great Groupon that includes a sitting fee and two digital images but I saw a few reviews that Cherry Hill makes it hard to redeem so I called first before buying.
