We came here to get family photos for our holiday cards. This is our first year doing holiday cards because we have a new baby, and i wanted to have the photos look professional. We had some confusion with our appointment because I had called the number on the listing for a different location which ended up being closed and my appointment was made here. Disappointed in Jcp in Lakewood! I had chosen the background online which was Santa Toy shop and when arriving to my appointment I was told that background was not available only when Santa was there which was December 4th. My appointment was December 6. Nowhere in the website does it disclose such thing. What upset me the most is that they had the background there but I guess choose not to use it. If you are taking young children I would go somewhere else. To start, you only get 15 minutes which is definitely not enough time to take pictures of toddlers or infants. second, the photographer is too busy trying to make my kid laugh when they should be letting me as a parent do that. If they don't laugh with me, why would they laugh with a complete stranger. We had Stephanie and would not recommend her, she should've been taking the photos instead of trying to make my child laugh at the same time I was. JC Penny needs to ... read more
